TCMA Contributes Industry Perspectives on Just Transition towards Net-Zero 2050

Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Chair of Working Committee TCMA on Carbon Policy and Net Zero Governance, and Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), led the team in contributing industry perspectives and providing feedback on the framework of a study on ‘Just Transition Readiness.’ Through the focus group discussion, TCMA shared insights from the cement industry to help ensure that the study appropriately reflects industry realities, challenges, and opportunities, and delivers accurate, practical, and useful findings to support Thailand’s transition towards Net-Zero 2050. The discussion was held under the study “Advancing Industrial Decarbonization toward Net-Zero 2050 in Thailand through a Just Transition Framework,” conducted by the Energy Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, with funding support from Agora Think Tanks GmbH under the International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETTT).
