Industry Perspectives on the Draft Mineral Resources Management Master Plan No. 3

  Khun Mongkon Pornchunchoovong, Advisor to Working Committee TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), and representative of the Federation of Thai Industries, shared the industry’s perspective on the Draft Mineral Resources Management Master Plan No. 3 at the 3/ 2026 meeting of Sub-committee on Thailand ‘s Mineral Resources Management Master Plan, jointly chaired by Khun Panotson Sujayanont, Deputy Director General of Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry and Khun Krittaya Pattamalai, Director of Mineral Resources Division, Department of Mineral Resources (DMR), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. In this context, TCMA also put forward recommendations to enhance the availability and accessibility of raw materials to support the future development of low-carbon cement, emphasizing the importance of aligning mineral resource management with Thailand’s decarbonization pathway and long-term sustainability goals.
