TCMA Brings Industry Perspectives to Thailand’s 3rd Minerals Management Master Plan

August 19-20, 2026: Khun Mongkol Pornchunchoovong, Advisor to Working Committee TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), led the team in presenting the cement industry’s perspectives at the workshop on “Reviewing the Indicators of the Draft 3rd Minerals Management Master Plan”, organized by Department of Mineral Resources (DMR). TCMA shared recommendations to ensure that the proposed indicators are clear, practical, and appropriate, while supporting sustainable mineral resource management, industrial competitiveness, and the availability of essential mineral resources for Thailand’s Net Zero 2050 transition. The engagement reflects TCMA’s commitment to contributing industry perspectives to national policy development and advancing a coherent policy framework for Thailand’s green and low-carbon transition
