  April 4, 2018: Khun Sompon Chanvaivit, TCMA Chair of Working Committee on Technical delivered brief remarks on behalf of TCMA, who serves as 2017 – 2019 Country Coordinator ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) Standing Committee on Technical Cooperation (SC-TC), at the official opening of the 25th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition, hosted by Indonesia Cement Association (ICA) at Trans Luxury Hotel, Bandung-West Java, Indonesia. This event was a great opportunity to reunification cement friends and partners in envisioning the further promotion and advancement of friendship and cooperation.

Technical Cooperation with ASEAN Members

October 17, 2018: Agreeable to further develop key emission indicators as a guideline for cement industry improvement is the outstanding results of the Standing Committee on Technical Cooperation (SC-TC) meeting, ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers Association (AFCM) chaired by Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) as SC-TC country coordinator during the AFCM 42nd Council Meeting, hosted by Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP), Inc. at Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island, Cebu, the Philippines.

Successful Term of AFCM-Standing Committee on Technical Cooperation

October 31, 2019: Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) has completed 2 years term 2017 - 2019 with successfully serving as coordinating country for ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers Association (AFCM)-Standing Committee on Technical Cooperation (SC-TC). On behalf of TCMA, Khun Sompon Chanvaivit, Chair of TCMA Working Committee on Technical received plaque of appreciation from Mr. Soe Puay Wee, President of Cement and Concrete Association of Singapore (CNCAS) during AFCM 21st Conference, hosted by CNCAS.

TCMA Hands a Ceremonial Garland to Vietnam as the Next AFCM Host

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the Executive Board, including Thai Pride Cement Co., Ltd., Asia Cement PCL., Jalaprathan Cement PCL., Globe Cement Co., Ltd., TPI Polene PCL., SCG Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd., and Siam City Cement PCL., presented a garland adorned with Thai motif, as a ceremonial and a symbol of cooperation, to Vietnam as the host of the AFCM 45th Council Meeting and 22nd Conference in 2024. This marks the official conclusion of the AFCM 44th Council Meeting.
