Strengthen Ties with Regional Partnership

July 11-12, 2024: Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the members to strengthen collaboration among Asian cement producers in the 70th Asian Cement Producers Amity Club (ACPAC) Workshop, hosted by the Cement & Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA) at Courtyard by Marriott, Malacca, Malaysia.

Driving ASEAN Cement Industry

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, TCMA Vice-Chairman and TCMA executive team received a very warm welcome from Dato' Soo Keng Yeoh, Executive Director of YTL Corporation Berhard and also serve as President of ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) during the recent visit to Malaysia for the 70th Asian Cement Producers Amity Club (ACPAC) Workshop. The meeting had a fruitful discussion with experiences sharing and views exchanging to enhance the cooperation in driving ASEAN cement coping with the global economic megatrend.

Technical Visit Day during GCCA 2024

During the GCCA CEO Gathering and Leader Conference 2024, an on-site technical learning exchange was another key activity facilitated. This year SCG Research and Innovation (R&I) Center in Saraburi province and the One Bangkok project have been chosen for visiting of GCCA delegates, underscoring the importance of advancing sustainable development within Thailand’s cement and construction industries and the effort to strive towards the Net Zero goal.

‘Concrete in Life’ Exhibition in GCCA 2024

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Mr. Paul Adeleke, Strategy, Communications & Policy Director at Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) introduced ‘Concrete in Life’, an annual photography competition initiated by GCCA for five years in a row.
