TCMA to Host AFCM 2023 with a Focus on “ASEAN Cement Collaboration towards Decarbonization”

November 23-25, 2023, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), on behalf of Thailand, is honored to host the ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers 44th Council Meeting (AFCM) under the theme “ASEAN Cement Collaboration towards Decarbonization” on November 23-25, 2023 in Bangkok. The delegates from seven AFCM member countries are attending the meeting; namely Butra HeidelbergCement Sdn Bhd, Indonesia Cement Association (ICA), The Cement & Concrete Association of Malaysia (C&CA), Cement Manufacturers’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CeMAP), Cement & Concrete Association of Singapore (CNCAS), Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), and Vietnam National Cement Association (VNCA), including Cambodia Cement Manufacturers Association (CCMA) as observer for the first-time to integrate and further strengthen the cooperation among cement manufacturers in ASEAN.

October 17, 2018: At a preparatory meeting in Cebu, the Philippines, Khun Siva Mahasandana, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) together with head of cement manufacturer associations in ASEAN exchanged their views for ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers Association (AFCM) 42nd Council Meeting, hosted by Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CeMAP), Inc. at Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island, Cebu, the Philippines.

Speech in the 25th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition

April 4, 2018: Khun Sompon Chanvaivit, TCMA Chair of Working Committee on Technical delivered brief remarks on behalf of TCMA, who serves as 2017 – 2019 Country Coordinator ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) Standing Committee on Technical Cooperation (SC-TC), at the official opening of the 25th AFCM Technical Symposium & Exhibition, hosted by Indonesia Cement Association (ICA) at Trans Luxury Hotel, Bandung-West Java, Indonesia. This event was a great opportunity to reunification cement friends and partners in envisioning the further promotion and advancement of friendship and cooperation.

July 9-10, 2018: Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) as a member of Asian Cement Producers Amity Club (ACPAC) be part of regional meeting at the 67th ACPAC Workshop, hosted by Indonesia Cement Association (ICA) on July 9 - 10, 2018 at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This meeting provided opportunity for ACPAC member countries:- namely Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand to update current situation for the success of cement industry.
