Congratulations to TCMA Chairman 2026-2028

Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) extends its warmest congratulations to Khun Surachai Nimla-or on his election as Chairman for 2026–2028, reflecting the strong confidence of member companies in his vision and steadfast commitment to advancing Thailand’s cement industry. Under his leadership and the policy focus “Transforming Cement, Enabling Thailand’s Net Zero 2050”, TCMA will drive four strategic priorities: Climate & Net Zero Transition, Energy Transition & Performance Efficiency, Circular Economy, and Policy & Regulatory Leadership. Together, these pillars will strengthen industry collaboration, accelerate low carbon transformation, and position Thai cement industry as a proactive partner in Thailand’s climate ambition and a leading voice in regional and global sustainability advancement.

TCMA is a coalition of Thailand’s leading cement manufacturers, advocating for the industry’s vital role as a foundation of national infrastructure and development, committed to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and sustainable growth. TCMA drives industry-wide collaboration to advance innovation, enhance environmental performance, and implement the Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap, supporting the country’s transition toward a low carbon and resilient future.

Cement Industry Perspectives on CCS in Thailand

Khun Boonyoung Thepsut, Members of Working Committee TCMA on Green Mining and Stakeholder Engagement, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) shared industry perspectives at a focus group discussion on “Assessing Knowledge Status and Business Opportunities for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in Geological Formations”, organized by Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University in collaboration with Department of Mineral Fuels, Ministry of Energy, and PTT Exploration and Production PLC, highlighting potential business models, enabling policies, and the role of CCS in advancing the country’s transition toward Net Zero 2050.
