TCMA-DPIM Strategic Collaboration to Advance Smart and Green Mining for a Low-Carbon Industry Transition
Khun Surachai Nimla-or, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led TCMA team paid a courtesy visit to Khun Aditad Vasinonta, Director General of Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry to introduce TCMA Board for 2026–2028 term, express appreciation for DPIM’s continued support throughout 2025 and further strengthen public–private collaboration. During the meeting, TCMA shared updates on the cement industry’s decarbonization progress and on-going cooperation with DPIM to promote sustainable, green and smart mining operations, which are essential to the cement supply chain. Discussions also covered the essential role of DPIM in supporting the mining sector through policy frameworks, regulations, and operational facilitation, enabling the industry to operate efficiently and sustainably. Both sides also explored opportunities to advance low carbon cement innovations, including calcined clay cement (LC3), contributing to sustainable mineral resource management and supporting the industry’s transition toward Net Zero by 2050, while strengthening Thailand’s long term industrial competitiveness.

TCMA Strengthens Collaboration with Department of Mineral Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) together with TCMA team paid a courtesy visit to Khun Suvapak Imsamut and Khun Preecha Saithong, Deputy Director Generals of Department of Mineral Resources Thailand (DMR), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to express appreciation for DMR’s continued support of TCMA’s work throughout 2025 and to further strengthen collaboration between the two organizations. During the meeting, TCMA shared updates on the progress of cement industry’s decarbonization efforts and on-going cooperation with DMR on the revision of the Mineral Resources Management Master Plan. Discussions also highlighted the role of DMR in supporting sustainable mineral resource management and enabling the development of new materials for low carbon cement production, including potential collaboration on calcined clay cement (LC3). The cooperation supports the industry’s transition in line with Thailand’s 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap, while reinforcing the shared goal of enhancing the country’s long term industrial competitiveness through sustainable resource development.

TCMA Joins Forum to Strengthen SMEs in Thailand’s Smart Industry Transition
