TCMA calls on the government to unlock industrial access to clean electricity through Third Party Access (TPA) and Direct Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), enabling clean, competitive, reliable, and traceable power. The Saraburi Sandbox can turn policy into action by piloting solutions, generating evidence for regulation, and scaling what works to accelerate clean energy investment and the transition toward Net Zero 2050.

TCMA Honours Partners for Advancing Nationwide Low-Carbon Cement Transformation

Khun Surachai Nimla-or, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), together with TCMA Board, presented the “Achievement in the Journey to a New Era of Low-Carbon Cement” award to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanes Weerasiri, former President of Engineering Institute of Thailand Under His Majesty the King’s Patronage (EIT), 2017–2022, in recognition of his contribution to advancing low-carbon cement solutions through the promotion of hydraulic cement. These collective efforts, carried out from 2019 to the present, have contributed to avoiding more than 3.8 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions. TCMA Explores C-IMPACT Collaboration to Accelerate Net Zero Cement Transition

Industry Perspectives on the Draft Mineral Resources Management Master Plan No. 3

TCMA Contributes Industry Perspectives on Just Transition towards Net-Zero 2050

Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Chair of Working Committee TCMA on Carbon Policy and Net Zero Governance, and Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), led the team in contributing industry perspectives and providing feedback on the framework of a study on ‘Just Transition Readiness.’ Through the focus group discussion, TCMA shared insights from the cement industry to help ensure that the study appropriately reflects industry realities, challenges, and opportunities, and delivers accurate, practical, and useful findings to support Thailand’s transition towards Net-Zero 2050. The discussion was held under the study “Advancing Industrial Decarbonization toward Net-Zero 2050 in Thailand through a Just Transition Framework,” conducted by the Energy Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, with funding support from Agora Think Tanks GmbH under the International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETTT).

20 Years of TCMA: A Day of Merit, Gratitude and Auspicious Blessings

Khun Surachai Nimla-or, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), together with the TCMA Board of Directors, members, and team, gathered at Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan (Temple of the Golden Buddha) for a merit-making ceremony marking the 20th Anniversary of TCMA’s founding. The ceremony included making merit, offering talapat (monks’ ceremonial fans) and candles for Buddhist Lent, as well as paying respects and receiving auspicious blessings. Led by Somdet Phra Phutthachan (Sanit Chuanpanyo), Abbot of Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan, and Somdet Phra Maharatchamongkhalamuni (Thongchai Dhammacho), Deputy Abbot, the monks offered blessings and the sprinkling of holy water to the TCMA team, wishing the Association continued prosperity and success in the years ahead.
