Seminar on Emission Analysis to Capture Plant Technology Selection
Members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) participated in the seminar “Pathways for Cement Plant Decarbonization: From Emission Analysis to Capture Plant Technology Selection,” organized by Clean Energy Technologies Research Institute (CETRI), University of Regina, with support from UNIDO and funding from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of cement industry decarbonization and examined key carbon capture technologies and their applications in cement plants.

Capacity Building for Cement and Concrete Decarbonization in Thailand

Strategic Dialogue on MAF Support for Thailand’s Net Zero Cement Transition
The joint meeting among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) team-led by Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director, UNIDO-led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, Project Manager and Industrial Development Expert, GIZ-led by Ms. Insa Illgen, Programme Director of Thai–German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC), and Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA)-led by Chief Executive Thomas Guillot, continued discussions to explore Mitigation Action Facility (MAF) support for the cement industry toward Net Zero 2050.
