AFCM 43rd Council Meeting

  October 31, 2019: Khun Siva Mahasandana, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) briefed ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers Association (AFCM) 43rd Council Meeting on Thai economy including projection and challenges of Thai cement industry, hosted by Cement and Concrete Association of Singapore (CNCAS).

AFCM established since 1977 with main objective to promote cooperation and coordinate among cement manufacturers in the ASEAN member nations, including initiate, encourage and coordinate the preparation and implementation of plans, programmes and projects that will accelerate and harmonize the growth and progress of the cement industry in the region.

TCMA Hands a Ceremonial Garland to Vietnam as the Next AFCM Host

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and the Executive Board, including Thai Pride Cement Co., Ltd., Asia Cement PCL., Jalaprathan Cement PCL., Globe Cement Co., Ltd., TPI Polene PCL., SCG Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd., and Siam City Cement PCL., presented a garland adorned with Thai motif, as a ceremonial and a symbol of cooperation, to Vietnam as the host of the AFCM 45th Council Meeting and 22nd Conference in 2024. This marks the official conclusion of the AFCM 44th Council Meeting.

TCMA and Regional Partners

July 3-4, 2019: Khun Syamrat Suthanukul, Vice-Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led members attended regional meeting the 68th Asian Cement Producers Amity Club (ACPAC) Workshop, hosted by Japan Cement Association (JCA) at Hotel Granvia Kyoto, Japan. This meeting provided opportunity for ACPAC members: - namely Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand to update current situation of cement industry.
