October 12, 2021: Khun Somwung Sintumongkolchai, Chair of Working Group TCMA-Environment, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) participated in the virtual meeting on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Measures-Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU) Sector in order to reach the country target as set, hosted by Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) as National Secretariat of Climate Change Coordination.

Research Study on Thailand Index for SDG Goal 12 and Goal 13

October 4, 2021: Khun Narongdetch Wanichritta, member of Working Group TCMA-Environment participated Focus Group of Research Study on Thailand Index for SDG Goal 12 and Goal 13 with aims to set up index in optimize waste management and reduction greenhouse gas emission along the line with Thailand Bio-Circular-Green economy policy, hosted by National Research Council of Thailand in collaboration with Bangkok University.

Collaboration on CO2 Emission Reduction by Clinker Substitution

September 27, 2021: Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) and Khun Mongkon Ponchunchoovong, member of Working Group TCMA on Sustainability discussed with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Smith Songpiriyakij, Chairperson of Civil Engineers, the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) under H.M. the King’s Patronage and also served as Dean of College of Industrial Technology (CIT), the King Mongkut's University of Technology-North Bangkok (KMUTNB) for collaboration on CO2 emission reduction under Industrial Processes and Product Use (IPPU) Sector by clinker substitution, which will help in achieving Thailand target of greenhouse gas emission reduction as country’s plan.
