Join Force with Expressway Authority of Thailand Driving ‘MISSION 2023’

Dr. Chana Poomee, Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led the cement industry join forced on greenhouse gas emission reduction with Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) led by Khun Surachet Laophulsuk, the Governor, under memorandum of understanding signing to implement ‘Hydraulic Cement’-a low carbon cement in EXAT’s construction projects, with aims to support ‘MISSION 2023’ target to reduce 1,000,000 tons-CO₂ within the year 2023.

‘MISSION 2023’ The joint collaboration on climate change in industrial processes and product use (IPPU) sector among 31 organizations from government, professional, industry and academic with 6 ministries support aimed to attain the reduction of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emission from clinker substitution measure not less than 1,000,000 ton CO₂ within the year 2023 by implementing a low carbon cement ‘Hydraulic Cement’ in all construction projects.
