TCMA Advances Climate Action through Carbon Credits from Food Waste Segregation Project, Phase 3

Khun Nopadol Ramyarupa, Vice Chairman of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led TCMA members presented support of approximately 1,000,000 Baht in “Carbon Credits from Food Waste Segregation Project”-Phase 3 in Saraburi Province to Governor Buncha Chaowarin. This action underscores TCMA’s strong commitment to driving area-based climate action, advancing circular economy practices, and strengthening public–private-people partnership to support of the SARABURI SANDBOX LOW CARBON CITY.

TCMA and Chulalongkorn University Explore Partnership on Carbon Capture Technology

Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led a TCMA delegation in a collaborative meeting with Professor Pranut Potiyaraj, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Science at Chulalongkorn University and the team. The discussion focused on joint efforts in pilot scale testing and the practical application of carbon capture technology in the cement industry, supporting Thailand’s 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap.

Strategic Dialogue on MAF Support for Thailand’s Net Zero Cement Transition

The joint meeting among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) team-led by Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director, UNIDO-led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, Project Manager and Industrial Development Expert and GIZ-led by Ms. Insa Illgen, Programme Director of Thai–German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC), continued discussions to explore Mitigation Action Facility (MAF) support for the cement industry toward Net Zero 2050.
