TCMA Supports Innovation in Concrete Quality and Low Carbon Construction

  The representatives of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) participated in the workshop “Real-Time In-Situ Concrete Strength, Curing Quality, and their Implications for Low Carbon Construction in Thailand”, where focused on the application of advanced concrete monitoring technologies to enhance construction safety, improve quality control, and support carbon reduction in the cement and concrete industry. The workshop was organized by UNIDO, in collaboration with Kasetsart University and Giatec Scientific Inc., under project the Decarbonization of the Cement and Concrete Sectors in Thailand, funded by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).

TCMA and Chulalongkorn University Explore Partnership on Carbon Capture Technology

Khun Rapee Sukhyanga, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) led a TCMA delegation in a collaborative meeting with Professor Pranut Potiyaraj, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty of Science at Chulalongkorn University and the team. Strategic Dialogue on MAF Support for Thailand’s Net Zero Cement Transition

The joint meeting among Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) team-led by Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director, UNIDO-led by Ms. Rasha Abdrabu, Project Manager and Industrial Development Expert and GIZ-led by Ms. Insa Illgen, Programme Director of Thai–German Cooperation on Energy, Mobility and Climate (TGC EMC), continued discussions to explore Mitigation Action Facility (MAF) support for the cement industry toward Net Zero 2050. The discussion focused on accelerating the implementation of the Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap, in alignment with Thailand’s climate commitments and global pathways, while enabling scalable greenhouse gas reductions and maintaining industry competitiveness.

Members of Working Committee TCMA on Innovation and Technology, Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) attended 1/2026 meeting, chaired by Khun Surachai Vangrattanachai.
