TCMA Voices Industry Input on Low Carbon Cement Ecolabel

Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, Executive Director together with Khun Monwikan Kajohnboon, Secretary of Working Committee TCMA-Environment and Climate Action, and members of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA), shared industry perspectives at a stakeholder consultation under the project “Cement Emissions Benchmarking and the Development of Recommendations for a National Ecolabel for Low Carbon Cement in Thailand”, aims to gather insights to support the development of environmental performance benchmarks and an ecolabel framework for low carbon cement. This initiative is part of a broader decarbonization effort for Thailand’s cement and concrete sectors, funded by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) and managed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in collaboration with Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) and Energy Research and Development Institute–Nakornping, Chiang Mai University.
