Cement Industry and Mechanism for GHG Reduction

December 7, 2018: Khun Phattharawan Sukkantharak, General Manager of Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) welcomed 40 representatives of TCMA members to the seminar on ‘Thai Cement Industry and Mechanism for GHG Reduction’. TCMA-Working Committee on Environment arranged this successful seminar in cooperation with Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) with aims to update TCMA members on carbon price mechanism and measurement, reporting, verification (MRV) system, including greenhouse gas reduction technology in cement industry.

Research Discussion on Environment and Social Matters

November 9, 2018: Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) by Working Committee on Environment welcomed research team from Unisearch of Chulalongkorn University at TCMA office. Both sides, after presentation on environment and social impact assessment agreed to arrange in-depth discussion between research team and each TCMA members to verify data in the research paper for the fruitful result of TCMA research project on “Socio-Economic and Environmental Impact Assessment of Cement Production in Thailand”.
